3ème Trail-Marathon des Papillons, Kpalimé, Togo

Welcome to the 3rd edition of the Trail-Marathon in the Atacora mountain chain. This is the masterpiece of the African Marathon Challenge. We start with a breakfast in the area of the NGO AGERTO (Association Germano-Togolaise) located in the Yoruba-founding Kpalimé. Running slightly uphill on paved roads, we cross the border to Ghana after 12 kilometres. On our way we will visit the friendly mountain villages before reaching 2 waterfalls. You get a free massage there... The finishline awaits you with local food and traditional music in Kouma Konda, one of this lovely Butterfly-Villages. Charity-Background: We are building the sanitary facilities of the "Gustav Nachtigall"-School in Kpalimé. We support the AGERTO project in Kpalimé by planting fruit trees.
